Newquay Stag Do

Whilst the U.S. may have its own surfing hotspots, the UK has an answer to the top surf destinations of Hawaii and California – sunny Newquay. As well as golden sandy beaches to rival Marbs and Ibiza, Newquay has a great laid-back attitude which is perfect for a stag do; it's a really hip and friendly destination where having a good time takes centre stage, which is what it's all about, right?

About Newquay

Located on Cornwall’s Atlantic Coast, Newquay is the jewel in Cornwall's crown. Voted “One of the nation's favourite seaside towns” in the prestigious Which Holiday Survey, “Best family holiday destination” by readers of COAST magazine, and has one of the UK's top ten beaches on Trip Advisor, Newquay is the perfect alternative to an overseas Stag Do.

Newquay’s laid back charm is here for everyone to enjoy. Whilst trying your hand at the most popular activity in Newquay may be a top idea, there is a lot more to this beach destination than just surfing, as the place really comes alive at night and serves up some of the best parties in Cornwall. Newquay is surprisingly impressive when it comes to nightlife putting on some epic nights, from foam parties to Hawaiian-themed hulas you and the lads will have a top night out in Newquay.

With eleven sandy beaches you can chill out on the shoreline during the day or take to the water with a number of different stag activities. The locals are always up for a good time whilst the older generations are always keen to peddle the local wears such as Cornish pasties, ice cream or cream teas. The pasty naturally goes hand-in-hand with a stag do, however an afternoon spent in a tea room does not, unless of course you're still feeling a little worse for wear from the party the night before. Although if you're looking for a true hangover cure then being next to the seaside you'll find Newquay is blessed with some of the best seafood on offer - and fish and chips is merely the tip of the iceberg. This is a great UK destination for your Stag Do Weekend, and the memories will linger for a long time!

The Plymouth to Penzance mainline then connects country wide. In the Summer, normally from the end of May to the end of September, Newquay has direct trains from London, Bristol, Birmingham, Yorkshire, the North East and Scotland (subject to operator changes or replacements). There is a daily London service from Newquay during July and August.
