Newquay Stag Weekends

Whilst the US may have its own surfing hotspots, the UK has an answer to the top surf destinations of Hawaii and California – sunny Newquay. This surfer's paradise is a far better stag weekend destination, partly because carving a few waves here will remain relatively shark free but also because you won't be in America surrounded by wannabe characters from Point Break. To some, surfing without sharks may be considered a pussy activity but to others it is a far better option – everyone's seen Jaws right? Newquay also has a great laid-back attitude which is perfect for a stag do; it's a really hip and friendly destination where having a good time takes centre stage which is what it's all about.

About Newquay

Whilst trying your hand at the most popular activity in Newquay may be a top idea, there is a lot more to this beach destination than just surfing, as the place really comes alive at night and serves up some of the best parties in Cornwall. Newquay is surprisingly impressive when it comes to nightlife putting on some epic nights, from foam parties to Hawaiian themed hulas you'll have a top night out here.

With eleven sandy beaches you can chill out on the shoreline during the day or take to the water with a number of different stag activities. The locals are always up for a good time whilst the older generations are always keen to peddle the local wears such as Cornish pasties, ice cream or cream teas. The pasty naturally goes hand-in-hand with a stag do, however an afternoon spent in a tea room does not, unless of course you're still feeling a little worse for wear from the party the night before. Although if you're looking for a true hangover cure then being next to the seaside you'll find Newquay is blessed with some of the best seafood on offer - and fish and chips is merely the tip of the iceberg.

Do some water sports!
