Archery and Target Rifle Shooting

Try your hand at archery and rilfe shooting at Blackpool's number one rated attraction. You and your mates get to test your skills across 2 great disciplines, in one fantastic session, just a 10 minute drive out of central Blackpool. Who will be able to hit the most bulls eyes? Who's the Robin Hood and Hawkeye amongst you? A great competitive activity, this gives everyone a chance to learn new skills, or show off old ones and is perfect for breaking the ice.

Air Rifle Shooting is an Olympic sport and involves shooting at artificial targets. It's all about marksmanship skill, and you need the ability to repeatedly place shots in as small an area as possible in the centre of the target, whilst resisting the kick of powerful .22 rifle. With an undercover range, this is an all weather activity. Archery is an ancient field sport that requires skill and technique. Since the Hunger Games, this sport has never been sexier.

Both activities take place on purpose built ranges which you'll have to yourselves. Expert tuition, including a full safety briefing, and all your equipment is provided for both as well. All you need to do is just bring your mates and your competitive spirit, and let's see who's got the skills. Rated number one on TripAdvsior by people who've done it, we know you'll be well looked after and have a top sporting afternoon.

Escape Room

It's a race against time as you find the clues, solve the puzzle and try to break out of the room. This is a fun and exciting activity where you and your mates will need to work together. With the clock ticking down, have you got what it takes to escape? It's a bit like the Crystal Maze, the Cube and Cluedo all rolled into one.

There are 3 different rooms, enabling groups of up to 28 to all play at once. You get an hour of play time in which you need to manipulate objects to find clues and solve the puzzles. If you work everything out before the time runs out, you escape the room and win the game. You can get hints if you get stuck, and you don't need any special skills to play.

Will you be asked to track down a criminal mastermind before he detonates a bomb, or will you find yourself handcuffed and blindfolded in total darkness, deep within a high security facility you need to escape from? Whilst not physically demanding, you'll need loads of creative energy, team work and attention to detail to make it. Are you up to the challenge? Can you beat the clock? There's only one way to find out!

This is something really different to try, and we guarantee it will give everyone loads to talk about!

We do not recommend the Quarantine challenge for anyone with claustrophobia.

Footgolf

If you've got any football or golf fans in your group, this could be just what you're looking for to make your special weekend really memorable. Think football but played on a specialised golf course. The aim of the game is simple, but like golf the actual game takes some getting used to. All you've got to do is get the ball in the hole using only your feet with as few shots as possible. Things are complicated by a few twists thrown in to add to the fun and the competition.

You'll get to try out a range of fun challenges such as back healed putting, bunker and water hazard forfeits, weak foot tee-off, closest to the pin competitions, mandatory hazard chips, Tiger Woods style chip putting and even binocular holes. In true golfing style you'll need to stick to traditional golf etiquette, including the dress code. We think a pair of plus fours, visor and pastel coloured paisley adds a little something to the event anyway!

We know you're going to love this if you're looking for some friendly competition, but want something everyone can enjoy together. After your round, what better conversation at the 19th hole than how you spent a great afternoon in Blackpool playing footgolf?

What's included?
  • Fun referee/coordinator
  • 18 holes of footgolf

Human Table Football

Who doesn't love a game of table football? Always a great chance for the armchair sports fan to put their expert knowledge of the beautiful game into action. This activity takes the classic tabletop game and turns it physical - very physical! You and your mates take the place of the small plastic players, with 2 teams going head to head. This is crazy and fun, leaving everyone with a smile on their face.

You'll have exclusive use of the pitch which is a giant 20ft by 40ft inflatable. The session is also supervised by a referee who'll keep the score and fetch the ball back for you when it gets kicked out. The whole thing is great for getting people working together - you're strapped together on a bungee rope for a start - but is still energetic and competitive.

The game is normally played in teams of 8 to 10, but larger groups can use substitutes to ensure everyone gets a game. Truly a great activity and just 10 minutes outside Blackpool.

  • Private use of inflatable pitch
  • All equipment

About Blackpool

The UK's favourite beach resort won't disappoint. Golden sandy beaches, LOADS to do, a vibrant night life....we think Blackpool is possibly the perfect Stag Do destination in the UK.

Back in the day, when paddling in rock pools was considered a water sport, Blackpool typified what is what to be British -  weekends of donkey rides, kiss-me-quick hats, pasty white legs with knobbly knees, alarming swimsuits... while not forgetting the classic combo of a bucket and spade.

Today the scene underneath the Blackpool Tower has changed, but still captures what it is to be British. A nation who are eager for excitement, love a top night out and love football even more, all this is highlighted by the death-defying roller coasters, the epic nightlife which the city's clubs offer and a game of footy in every form. Blackpool celebrates the beautiful game by offering Bubble Football, Footgolf and Human Table Football for a hilarious Blackpool stag do activity. If you want to take shots of a different kind, there are plenty of gun-slinging activities including Battle Zone Archery, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Paint-balling and Laser Tag.

Don't miss the Pleasure Beach, and the iconic Blackpool Tower!

A great place for some pre-drinking stag do antics is along the promenade and Talbot Road, there's everything from alternative venues to quality drinking dens, it's also a popular area for live DJs. Clubbing on your Blackpool stag do offers everything from 70s music to urban drum and bass, and everything in the middle. All of the city's night time entertainment is generally located in between the city centre and the sea front, so if you're looking for that classic experience on your stag do Blackpool is home to a top lap dance club too.

Getting to Blackpool

By Train

With direct trains from London Euston to Blackpool North in under three hours, you can easily make a day trip of it. The average direct train takes 2 hours 44 minutes from London Euston, or you can get there in 1 hour 17 minutes from Liverpool Lime Street!

By Bus

Bus services connect most hotels and accommodation to all of the famous Blackpool attractions. Blackpool Transport’s Customer Centre on Market Street (behind the Town Hall) has timetables, information and travel tickets. The VisitBlackpool Tourist Information Centre at Festival House also has timetables available.

By Tram

Like a trip up the Tower, a journey on the Blackpool trams forms an essential part of any visit to the town. It’s quite simply the perfect way to travel through the town – with the spectacular coastline on one side and the famous Golden Mile on the other.

What a lot of people don’t realise is that the description of that ‘golden mile’ employs quite a bit of artistic license – the distance from the Blackpool Pleasure Beach in the south to The Blackpool Tower is actually more like three miles – so the tram is the perfect way to take the strain of your feet!

By Road

Blackpool enjoys the luxury of having a motorway link direct to the heart of the resort – take Junction 32 off the M6, and the M55 will lead you almost to the beach!

By Coach

National Express Coaches operate to and from the resort’s heart throughout the year. Arriving and departing in the new Blackpool Central Coach Station located at the rear of Coral Island in the Blackpool Central Car Park.
