Redseven  were lucky enough to be part of the magical Wedding Ideas Awards, an evening where the best in the wedding industry come together to celebrate what we’re best at – turning your wedding dreams into a reality.

Voted for by brides who know what they’re talking about, the Wedding Ideas Awards 2014 included awards such as ‘Best Bridal Designer,’ ‘Best Groomswear Collection,’ ‘Best UK Wedding Venue,’ ‘Best Provider of Honeymoons and Weddings,’ and ‘Best Hen and Stags Provider.’

Redseven felt honoured to be one of the first nominees for the new ‘Best Hen and Stags Provider’ award, as it proves that more and more of you are recognising your hen and stag weekends as a crucial part of the wedding celebrations. Hen and stag weekends are now less about necking shots in a crowded nightclub (although there is that), and more about making your last weekend of freedom unique and memorable, with fun and exotic locations, unforgettable activities and the all-important finishing touches.

A few of us from the team that make it all happen had a fab time letting our hair down at the Guoman Tower Hotel in London. We discovered there’s nothing quite like sipping bubbly with the backdrop of the stunning Tower Bridge and the Shard, and a big, glowing ‘LOVE’ sign.

The entire venue was decked out in true wedding expert style, with decorations from Pumpkin Events, Stephanie Saunders Flowers and the Wedding Ideas Magazine team, including hundreds of individually tied chair sashes. Some of us also particularly enjoyed the cheeky butlers and enormous sculpted vodka luge in the shape of a horse’s head, and who can blame us?

All that’s left is for us to congratulate the winners, thank Wedding Ideas Magazine for a showstopper of an evening and start working our socks off once again to make next year’s awards even more of a success.

Be inspired by some of Redseven’s brilliantly different hen and stag weekend ideas.
