A life-long West Bromwich Albion fan was forced to dress in a Wolves kit on his stag do.

Kieran Handley, from Wheaton Aston in Staffordshire, is a die-hard Baggies fan.

But his Wolves-supporting wingmen decided the prank would be the ultimate stag-do stunt.

Joint-best man Joe Wheway said: “We thought what would be the thing he’d hate most and would amuse us. So we decided that sticking him in the old gold and singing about Steve Bull would be the best way to kick off the weekend’s festivities. And deep down, we’re pretty sure he secretly enjoyed it.”

Ex-England international Bull joined Wolves in 1986 from West Brom for £65,000. He went on to spend 13 years at Molineux, becoming the club’s record goalscorer with 306 goals.

Wearing an old Wolves kit and carrying a gold and black scarf, Kieran was blindfolded and taken to the Hawthorns ground, where he was filmed singing the ‘Stevie Bull’s a tatter’ outside the West Stand.

His bride-to-be and fellow baggies fan Hannah Croom, 28, had threatened to call it all off following the stag stunt.

But she decided to forgive and forget and the couple have now tied the knot.
