Lloret de Mar is a high contender for the Costa Brava partying crown. Stag parties descend on this incredible Mediterranean Spanish region every year – and no wonder. It’s got sun, miles of sea and sand, and a seriously good nightlife to bowl you over. At night, the streets which are bursting with bars, restaurants and clubs come alive, promising some real stag do mayhem. Think tequila bars, foam parties, fishbowl cocktails, world-renowned international DJs and some impressive night clubs; you’ll feel like stag party royalty in Lloret de Mar.
But as well as living it up until sunrise with your appointed stags, it’s worth knowing that Lloret de Mar can also provide you with more daytime beach fun and frolicking that you can shake a flip flop at.
Here’s the lin eup of Lloret de Mar’s finest beach activities – here’s hoping your stags are ready to show you what they’re made of:
Lloret de Mar’s main beaches Lloret beach and Fenals beach, are a must for water sports lovers. Both offer water skiing, jet skiing, and parasailing- all with an incredible view of the clear, blue Mediterranean sea. Stag parties will never forget getting wet and wild on Lloret de Mar’s stunning coastline, before recovering in one of the beach bars for some al fresco beers.
Lloret de Mar has some prime snorkelling and diving opportunities. Why not make yours a stag party experience of a lifetime and take a PADI diving course? Lloret de Mar is home to several 5 star diving centres who can teach you how to explore the beautiful, subaquatic world beneath Lloret de Mar. If you haven’t enough time to take a course between partying, an ideal way to wash your hangover away is by renting a snorkel and heading to one of the secluded bays around Lloret de Mar. Cala banys is a small first-rate rocky cove within walking distance of Lloret beach, with pristine waters which make it an idyllic snorkelling spot.
No one can blame you for wanting to unwind after a crazy night of stag partying in your own personal paradise, no matter what your mates might say. Lloret de Mar offers several opportunities to escape from the busy beaches for a few hours. As well as boat excursions to some of Lloret de Mar’s less-visited shores, it is possible to rent a sea kayak and find some secluded beaches and hidden coves of your own. There’s no better way to spend a day of your stag weekend to remember than at your own private beach.
Finally, in late July every year, Lloret de Mar hosts a week long celebration with dressing up, an incredible flotilla procession in the sea and most importantly, street and beach parties. Party like the locals and take to the streets to dance for a wild stag fiesta, Spanish-style.
