Her Madge is back!
In an interview with The Canadian Press, Madonna confirmed that she is working on a follow-up to 2012’s MDNA.
The pint-sized pop prima donna made a lightning visit to Toronto to promote her Hard Candy gym franchise.
The singer also revealed that she is launching a new skincare range called MDNA Skin. The brand features a facial serum, skin rejuvenator and a clay mask. It launches worldwide next week.
“What am I doing here anyway?” she asked the waiting press. “Didn’t they try to arrest me here?”
The reference was to an incident captured in her documentary film Madonna: Truth or Dare, where Toronto police threatened to stop the show and take her into custody if she let her fingers do the talking during her performance of ‘Like A Virgin’. Madonna did what came naturally and the authorities looked the other way.
Now she says the city – like the rest of the world – has accepted her for what she is,
“There’s a new album on the way,” she told reporters. “Don’t worry. And it’s always going to come from a place where you can dance. That’s what I’m all about.”
