We’ve all either experienced a major wedding disaster, or know someone who has. It’s completely normal for things to go wrong when emotions are high and champagne is flowing. What isn’t normal, however, is how pop star Lily Allen nearly managed to commit the biggest wedding blooper of the century, when she lost her £200,000 Chanel haute couture wedding gown after her wedding to Sam Cooper three years ago. The dress was custom-made and designed by creative director of Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld himself – we certainly wouldn’t have wanted to be Lily when she discovered the loss, which is the monetary equivalent of a small house.
Lily caused internet uproar after she revealed her loss on 4Music’s ‘Rock the Look’ with Rimmel London earlier this week to host and friend, Miquita Oliver. When asked by a fan on the show what her most expensive item of clothing was, Lily replied that it was the Chanel wedding gown, but she had managed to lose it. ‘It’s gone. I don’t know where it is.’ She confessed.
However, on Wednesday fashion lovers the world over breathed a sigh of relief when Lily took to Twitter to reveal that she had found the dress since her E4 interview.
OK, EVERYONE RELAX, I FOUND IT !!!!!!!!! A couple of weeks ago now. http://t.co/JuJFXLXs0C

We’re still flabbergasted as to how she managed to misplace the Chanel wedding gown in the first place. We would have worn it for at least a week after the wedding.
