Are these Britain’s BEST bridesmaids? The women who braved broken legs, allergic reactions and family fallouts to make sure their friends’ big days went off without a glitch.

  • EXCLUSIVE: Annual bridesmaid competition is run by hen and stag experts Red7
  • They were inundated with nearly 500 entries from up and down the country
  • Fourteen women have made the shortlist, with two chosen from each region
  • The winning bridesmaid will be treated to a luxury spa weekend in London

Women who overcame broken legs, allergic reactions and even battled cancer are all in the running to be crowned Britain’s Best Bridesmaid.

Nominations have flooded in from brides who believe their right-hand women are worthy of winning the annual competition run by hen and stag experts Red7.

Researchers have been scouring the country for a winner and now, after examining nearly 500 entries, the judges have whittled it down to 14 elite bridesmaids who went above and beyond for their friends’ big days.

One woman performed an emergency medical procedure – despite having no first-aid training – and managed to save the bride’s leg from being amputated after she broke it in four places during a hen do disaster.
