The most ridiculous ‘save the date’ video we’ve ever seen

Recently, ‘save the date’ wedding invitations have become increasingly more creative, as future bride and grooms aim to make their big days as special and personalised as possible. We’ve seen everything from hand-delivered ‘save the date’ cakes, polaroid cameras for guests to take to the wedding, postcards with ‘save the date’ written in every way possible, and of course, the rise of the ‘save the date’ video.

The big ‘save the date’ trend in 2014 is the quirky video uploaded onto sites such as Vimeo and You Tube  and sent to guests. It sounds like the ultimate personal gesture, as couples are able to announce the news of their engagement or setting of a wedding date in person and let their personalities as a couple shine through.

However, we think this video for a ‘boss wedding’, although technically very impressive, has taken the ‘save the date’ video idea a little too far.

Tell us what you think.
