Getting There

Airports:

Prague's Ruzyne airport is only 6 miles Northwest of Prague. Many low cost airlines now fly into Prague direct. Look also at the national carriers, who have now lowered their prices to compete with the low cost airlines.

Visa Requirements:

None for the holders of a full British passport. Passports must be valid for at least 90 days beyond the intended length of stay.

Flight Time:

Approximately 2 hours

Getting Around

The central historic area of Prague is compact, so the best way to explore is on foot. For longer journeys the Metro and tram systems are widespread and cheap. Tickets are interchangeable, and can be bought at the main Metro stations.
Be aware of the local taxis. Over-charging is rife, particularly for taxis hailed in the street. For more reasonable rates, call a taxi company direct, and agree a price beforehand.
