Often called the ‘city with a heart' Munich is a throbbing cosmopolitan destination, with nightlife so vibrant you can play around until for many a nocturnal hour at the bars, clubs, live music venues or casinos.

There is also a huge number of places to eat in Munich and some are even open until 4am so you will always find somewhere to chow down after that great night out. If you are more of an exploring type then this city is also a delight to walk around with enough museums, parks and squares to keep you busy for weeks.

Munich International Airport is located just 30 minutes from its city centre. Apart from the national carriers, many low cost airlines and charter airlines now fly into Munich direct.

None for holders of a full British passport. Passports must be valid for 6 months after the date of return.

The best way of getting around in Munich is to use the excellent public transport system MVV. This is an integrated system consisting of trams, buses, U-Bahn trains (the underground) and S-Bahn trains. With this excellent transport system no matter where you are going in this city it is easy to get to all the venues, everything for your evening is at hand.
