The nearest airports to Lloret are Barcelona (75 km) and Girona airports (30 km). Barcelona airport has regular flights to all major cities in the world. Numerous low cost and charter flights to Girona airport link Lloret to many European cites.

There are different options for getting around Lloret, but given the short distances involved, the best way to explore the town is on foot. Taxi services, municipal buses and other forms of tourist transport are also available

What's On:

Lloret de Mar's most important festival, the Fiestas de Santa Cristina or the Festa Major, takes place at the end of July. A spectacular maritime procession accompanies a statue of the town's patron saint from the main church in Lloret de Mar to a beachfront hermitage. The climax involves some enthusiastic dancing and many broken glasses.
