Bratislava Stag Weekend

Bratislava is a little gem that has quietly been tucked away behind Austria and the Czech Republic for years, and it’s now emerging from the shadows to offer itself up as one of the new breed of Prague alternatives. In fact, it may not have the architectural splendour of Prague – where else does? – but what it does offer is a great city and with beer at 50p a pint and a good meal at around £5 a head it all adds up to great value.

All of our Bratislava Stag Weekends are included in our Stag brochure. To request a copy, click on the ‘Order a Brochure’ link on our Home Page.

Getting There

Airports:

There are two ways to fly to Bratislava. Bratislava Airport is 6 miles North East of the city centre. The main national airlines direct and one low cost airline has already begun direct flights from the U.K. With the entry of Slovakia into the E.U., it is envisaged that more low cost airlines will soon begin operating flights direct. Keep an eye out for these developments.

The second entry point is via Vienna, Austria, which is a short 40 minutes drive away.

Flight Time:

Approximately 2 hours

Visa:

Passports must be valid for 6 months from the date of entry. Visas not required for nationals of the United Kingdom

Getting Around

Getting around Bratislava is very easy. If you are not travelling on foot, buses, tramways and trolley buses are readily available. Tickets can be purchased in news stands, ticket machines and at the bus stops. Taxis can also be ordered for that extra bit of comfort.
