Leeds Festival Goes Big

The Leeds Festival kicks off tomorrow and all those lucky people who have got tickets are being rewarded with a star-studded line-up. The biggest festival of the north has got the Foo Fighters, Kasabian and The Cure as their headline acts. Other big names include Florence and the Machine and The Black Keys.
The Black Keys have had a hugely successful past 24 months getting their music into almost every form of media possible. This includes the movie Limitless, featuring Bradley Cooper, a whole host of TV programmes, including hit TV show Entourage, as well as numerous adverts and FIFA11, the video game. Any stag dos in Leeds this weekend will undoubtedly recognise their tunes.
The festival, beginning on the 24th and ending on the 26th August, promises a great weekend in an awesome setting filled with your favourite music and artists. Also performing are top comedians, Al Murray and Stephen K Amos will be there, to name but two of them.
All in all it is shaping up to be an awesome weekend, the only downfall is the predicted downpour – but amidst the excitement that the festival promises to offer, no one will know or care. If you’re going for a hen weekend to Leeds Festival, just remember to pack an anorak and maybe some wellies.
