It’s not everyone’s idea of fun to get smashed and end up hugging the pavement or toilet at the end of the night.
There’s a certain stereotype when it comes to what’s expected of a stag party and these usually include getting down to a pub at dawn and leaving at sunrise, after drinking your own body weight in booze.
It doesn’t have to follow this form, so if you’re someone who would prefer to do something active then there’s plenty of stag party ideas to make it one to remember, rather than one that’s forgotten somewhere in ether of generic drunken nights out;
Avoiding the pub during the day, means planning in an activity fairly early on and there’s loads of great activities to choose from but here’s a few;
Rage Buggies – go for an adrenalin rush activity which will get everyone’s heart rate going, they won’t have time to think about booze.
Greyhound Races – spend a day betting on the horses, the risk of losing or the apprehension of winning some will be enough to create a good feeling without having to get drink involved.
White Water Rafting – this is a good activity to go for as rules are, you shouldn’t drink alcohol the night before
When it comes to nightlife, you’re going to have to take into account the inevitable drinkers of the group too because lets face it, a good number of them are going to have an inbuilt booze magnet drawing them to any venue where there is alcohol available.
Medieval Banquet – if you go for a stag do in Nottingham, enjoy a four course feast with medieval surroundings and entertainment.
Comedy Club – this is possibly one of the best options, as you’re guaranteed a good time and those that want to drink can and those that don’t want to are still entertained.
Casino – keep the guys busy with trying their luck on roulette, blackjack and poker, this will keep the drinkers and non-drinkers happy.
So there you have it, it’s not all about drinking so much you forget your own name…
