Hens Unveiled – Marrakech Hen Weekend

What did you get up to?

We got up to everything from sunbathing, to shopping in the souks, to chilling at a spa and having body scrubs, to dancing the night away, to eating fabulous food and of course drinking plenty of alcohol!

From the moment we arrived we had fun! I was the hen do organiser and was worried I would have to find out where to go and get everyone to meet at certain places but my worry was straight away put at ease thanks to the fantastic Red Seven rep! He met us at the airport and then explained what to do and where to go without being pushy or interfering. I don’t usually like having a rep but in a place like Marrakech he was well needed. Our rep even came clubbing with us until 4am just so he could make sure we got back to our hotel OK!

What was the funniest story from the weekend? 

The funniest story would be the body scrubs we had. We thought we were having relaxing scrubs but instead the Moroccan ladies made us strip of our bikini tops, chucked a big bucket of water over us and then scrubbed our bodies raw! We have never laughed so much. Luckily we all knew each other and weren’t worried about flashing our boobs! We know each other even better now! (This may be too much info for your blog!)

Did you play any games focusing on the hen?

Of course we played mean games…this is a hen do tradition. We played Mr and Mrs and the hen had to spill all of her ‘bedroom’ beans even infront of our Mum.

Of course the hen got lots of answers wrong and ending up giving us far too much information on her sex life! We also played dares in the nightclub and she had to pinch bums, drink lots and get photos with the gorgeous waiters!

What is the most memorable part of the weekend?

Most memorable part was the souks. Marrakech is the most amazing place I have been to. Just think Sex and the City 2 (the movie). We were strutting about just like Carrie Bradshaw! The stalls selling shoes were out of this world as well as all of the amazing jewellery and pottery bowls you can pick up.
