Ah this is happy, happy news. They’ve only been together five minutes – OK five months – but Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford are all set to do the do. Mumford popped the question during a weekend trip to Babington House and according to The Sun Mulligan looked like ‘the cat that got the cream. She was wearing a beautiful ring and didn’t seem to mind who saw it.’

It’s understood that Mumford has invited Mulligan to join him and the band on their upcoming US tour and here’s a rather lovely thing, he’s hired a vintage train instead of a regular bus. We like!

So what’s the scoop on Cutler/Cavalleri? Some sources are saying that Cutler got cold feet and unceremoniously dumped her after just 10 months together. Others are saying she was uncomfortable about relocating to Chicago while her career was blooming in LA. Either way it’s a sad day…

As for Sandra Bullock’s philandering ex Jesse James, it was actually Kat Von D who announced the news last night on Twitter.

“I am no longer w Jesse, and out of respect for him, his family and myself, thats all the info I’d like to share. Thanks for respecting that,” she writes.

James said in reply “I’m so sad because I really love her. The distance between us was just too much.”

It may come as a surprise to you that an individual, who has come to prominence through a reality TV show, has had a hen night which ticked every stereotype. Arriving in a tiara and sash Kim would have felt completely at home. It was only later when the willy straws and midget stripper appeared, induced by her sisters Khloe and Kourtney, that Kim became embarrassed. Inflicted with the traditional right of passage she succumbed to endure every single ‘kringe-worthy’ moment.

Around 2am Kim was culpable for a hen weekend taboo of elephantine proportions. She left her own party, ventured down the road and ‘krashed’ her fiancé’s, Kris Humphries, stag party. He reportedly received this well, lifting her up and passionately kissing her – having said that he had been seen knocking back shots through the night and consequently he may not have realised it was actually Kim. Whatever the scenario he has made the Best Man’s speech easy.

Her sisters dub her ‘the boring one’ but on Saturday night she proved them wrong by carving up Sin City’s dancefloors with a dwarf clad in black leather.

Where they went: Las Vegas’s Tao nightclub but then Kim broke the First Rule of Hen Night by crashing fiancé Kris Humphries’ stag do at nearby Lavo. Noooooooo! Sounds like they got the hint that it wasn’t cool as they left after 10 minutes. Not good Kim, not good.

What they drank: Kim is usually teetotal but she made an exception, quaffing champagne and shots through willy straws. Good effort.

Who was there: about 20 guests including mum Kris Jenner, sisters Khloe and Kourtney, Serena Williams, LaLa Vasquez Anthony, Brittny Gastineau and future sister-in-law Kaela Humphries.

What she wore: a nude leather dress with perforated detail plus all the usual accoutrements including sash and glowing tiara.

When’s the wedding? 20 August. We will sooooo be watching.

A recent group of stags in Sweden were doing just this and consequently having been overheard and spotted attacking what seemed to be an innocent guy, onlookers called the police to report it. A member of the stag group Joakim Karlsson said to police;

“We shouted ‘lie down’ and maybe there was an echo in the garage”

Once the guys heard about this they went straight to the police to explain themselves as infact it was an eccentric stag do prank. Local police officer Sture Torstensson said;

“We couldn’t rule out that it was a prank, but neither could we rule out that it was serious crime”

If organising the kidnapping of your mate sounds like a good laugh and will be a memory you’ll think he’ll look back fondly on (once the fear passes) then Eastern Europe is the place to go. On a Riga stag do, you can arrange an actual police “special unit” van to kidnap the stag. The stag is arrested either at the airport or on exit from a bar, handcuffed, blindfolded and chucked in the back of the van. Whilst he’s panicking and racking his brains as to what he could have done wrong (aside from the previous night’s antics!), he’s driven to a stripclub where his blindfold is taken off and it’s revealed that it’s all been a prank.

Harsh prank? Well he is rewarded with a lapdance!

This can go wrong in more ways than just being spotted by onlookers or picked up by the local police – you must make sure that the rest of the group knows about the hoax and most importantly that the stag has a sense of humour!

Typical 18 year old hot blooded males, they are off on a typical lads holiday to Malia, Crete, for some sun, sea and sex and it looks like they are going to get a lot more than they bargained for…

Girls, tattoos, plenty of tequila and a sunburn in the shape of a penis – these are just a few of the rumours going round about the films content. So a usual lads holiday in Malia then!

What we can’t wait for is seeing these crazy antics that the boys get up to when set loose in the clubbing capital of Greece. I think we can safely say that whatever goes on, their endless pursuit for girls may well be over….they may actually get some of that “clunge” they always dreamed about getting.

If you’re after a proper lads getaway then why not head for an Ibiza stag do, it’s got clubs, sun, sand and sea and plenty of señoritas. Or how about a stag weekend in Magaluf or alternatively a Marbella stag do which is fast becoming a top destination? Wherever you decide,  just remember to bring your wellies as you’ll be knee deep in it all.

Tevez recently was recorded on an Argentinian chat show where he spoke out about his opinions of Manchester. In the interview he said, “There is nothing to do”, “There are two restaurants” and “everything is small and it rains all the time”.

Now I’m all for stereotyping but, “everything is small” is surely an unfounded exaggeration. I’m sure the men of Manchester will be particularly outraged.

To you and me it’s hard to comprehend Tevez’s dislike with this city, a city widely regarded as the 2nd city. So what does everyone see that Tevez does not?

Manchester’s image has been on the rise since it’s rejuvenation in the 90s. Today Manchester has the reputation of having a great nightlife as well as being complimented by cultural hot-spots.

Manchester’s Northern Quarter (NQ) has risen to become ‘The Camden of the North’. The defining music and fashion scenes beat through the city from the heart of this contemporary area. This fashionable hub is being dubbed as the ‘place-to-be’ for the vibrant individual – boasting it’s own bohemian personality it is easy to see why.

With the Argentinian star on a reported £286,000/week, does it mean that he can’t appreciate what us ‘regular folk’ would jump at? His opinion that there are two restaurants is absurd, I know for a fact that all major fast-food outlets are represented in Manchester. However, there are some fantastic restaurants in the NQ and throughout Manchester which demonstrate a large choice of cuisine which accents the cultural diversity.

So, ignore Tevez and get you and your mates on a Manchester stag weekend to see what all the fuss is about.
